My favorite place to live. I love the area, the neighbors are sweet, office is willing to help, maintenance is on it when ever put a order out. I have now another year here too, raising a family here is awesome and very roomy!

In the year I have been a resident, there has been a lot of remodeling of the entire complex which has caused a great deal of inconvenience which we were never offered any type of compensation for. And of course, rent is going up as well.

The first night we moved in one of our vehicles got broken into and we lost some very important paperwork due to that fact. Normally wed pass this off and just some bad luck but the fact that the apartment complex has the gate wide open just shows us the lack of security this "gated community " has.

My issue was fixed and I received an email when it was completed with notes about what was done which I liked. My only complaint is that I submitted it on Friday night and someone was sent on a Sunday to do this and I assumed a low priority fix like mine (A/C filter) wouldn't be handled until Monday. I left everything out including a bunch of financial documents and my checkbook which makes me feel uneasy. I love the promptness, I just wish I would have known this was more than a Monday-Friday service.

Response: They charge a monthly bug fee! It’s not free and when I requested it in previous years it didn’t do much so I’ve been incurring the expense of liquid traps that help. Been here almost 5 years and they are refusing to renew my lease so they can upgrade my apartment like the others apartments and make a fortune more! It’s in the paperwork sent to me! I am a single mom struggling and in school full time and given less than 2 months to find a place and a deposit and move out! I’m disgusted with this place. We are good tenants who always pay our rent on time! They didn’t even offer us to move to another apt. Lots of car break ins, windows shattered, and bugs. It’s typical apartment living but the prices are already high but they are redoing everything to raise it even higher. They have no loyalty to their residents. We may end up homeless because I don’t have the means to move and wasn’t even offered a one bedroom instead of two or any other option but told they need my apartment to upgrade and I have the paper they stuck on my door. Read the other reviews as well before making your decisions

Way too expensive not even worth it. Don't get me started with how expensive it is for just 1 bedroom! The staff who fix any damages from your apartment or at least 'try' are lazy and just want to get paid. Plus there's dog waste everywhere you go.

I went to take a tour around the apartments & two of the office employees were supposed to show me the units, until another interested person just showed up. I was expecting one of those two persons to take the other interested people while the other available person could show my mom & me around. Instead, the employees took us together. I didn’t mind it until my mom and i were left in the back and had figure out the amenities through the website since the two employees were too busy helping/flirting with the other person that just tagged along in OUR tour. One of the employees kept on saying “ay ay ay” and making Spanish slurs/jokes as if my mom and I spoke Spanish. My mom is Lebanese and I am half Brazilian. I don't understand Spanish so the fact that she assumed we did, really offended us. I tried my best to see things on the bright side, but being ignored and disrespected after I had already requested a tour via email was so humiliating that i just left. I didn’t request for any more information & they didn’t ask me to take a seat since clearly, the other person who just tagged along was their favorite. I expected to be given the time, energy & respect for that tour, since I live over an hour away. I expected a bit of professionalism but instead I got the opposite. So if you’re working in a leasing office, don’t assume people’s race just by the color they dyed their hair, it’s rude & completely ignorant.

I requested the service on 7/1/19 and was told on 7/2/19 that they couldn't visit until 7/3/19 at which time I informed the office that I wouldn't be home and rescheduled the visit for Friday morning on 7/5/19. Then while I was running a few minutes behind to leave on 7/3/19, maintenance arrived at 9ish. I was happy I was still home to watch my dog during the repairs.

The experience has gotten better with the new management. The construction has not disturbed us much and the hub has been convenient. Rent however has increased by 250 dollars a month over the past two years and we have not seen any changes in our area or our apartment

I wish people would pick their dog's poop better. And the new grill was clean. Went to use it the other day and it so dirty. Also, there are cars that are part is the same spot for months in the free parking. They should be moved!

Being a resident here has been alright. I definitely think there's a lot of room for improvement. My unit wasn't fully cleaned upon move in and it was not taken care of. The gate is always opening and homeless people come in to the gated area. Also, there are roaches in the buildings, it's gross. I do like the pool area, but the bathrooms are disgusting. More care needs to be taken into the property.

The community is getting a much needed upgrade and it's looking a lot nicer. The reason for 4 stars is because of the water bug problem. Can't have our slider door open at night or else they come in.

The staff here are super friendly and nice, willing to help ,...the neighbors here that I've enccountered as well are friendly and nice, it's a quiet community which I love because I work at night, nice to be able to sleep during the day...ive only been here 2 months so there's a lot more to explore yet, meet and greet,that sort of thing.

There is no hot water in my kitchen. A plug or outlet in each room does not work. The people upstairs have a kid that jumps and runs from the time it gets up until it goes to bed. It is simply awful living under these self absorbed people.

Been here almost 5 years and they are refusing to renew my lease so they can upgrade my apartment like the others apartments and make a fortune more! It’s in the paperwork sent to me! I am a single mom struggling and in school full time and given less than 2 months to find a place and a deposit and move out! I’m disgusted with this place. We are good tenants who always pay our rent on time! They didn’t even offer us to move to another apt. Lots of car break ins, windows shattered, and bugs. It’s typical apartment living but the prices are already high but they are redoing everything to raise it even higher. They have no loyalty to their residents. We may end up homeless because I don’t have the means to move and wasn’t even offered a one bedroom instead of two or any other option but told they need my apartment to upgrade and I have the paper they stuck on my door. Read the other reviews as well before making your decisions

Brande, We are sorry to hear your experience has been less than satisfactory. Unfortunately, with our redevelopment we are forced to non-renew a number of units. We wish to be more sensitive to each persons case, however these units are selected at random. We understand that this is an inconvenience so we are giving a sufficient 60 days plus for residents search for their new home. As for car break ins, we do have courtesy patrol on property from 7pm to 5am. They work diligently on keeping our property safe , however we cannot fight crime. We were unaware of your pest concerns as we do not have any record of you scheduling any treatments. Pest control is on property every Tuesday and Friday , this service is free to you . If you would like to schedule an appointment you may do so in the leasing office, Again we apologize for any inconvenience , Hensley Management

Overall, I really enjoy the location, and atmosphere at Hensley. The grounds are usually clean and well-kept, and our neighbors are typically quiet and nice. Sometimes I get frustrated with the smell of smoke, or weed that wafts up into our apartment from somewhere in the apartments near us. My biggest frustration is with parking. We never had issues previously, but since the construction began, a large section of spaces has been taken up in our section of the complex. We have one parking spot that we pay for, but it can be difficult to find parking for our second vehicle.

They did not complete the maintenance and They left waste on the floor. The same thing happens whenever I asked your team for maintenance. And I have to ask the requests many times for one maintenance every time. Because they did not complete the maintenance.

Its not like a home like they day they constantly coming inside your property to inspect or check I have no privacy and they are always working on something raising rent they say you can be late and pay a fee but because you pay a late fee they will not renew your contract and they practically throw you out and charging a lot more then you moved in after moving out they give you a list and never give you back your full deposit . I would not recommend it to many rules and laws you have to sign constantly and they go by the codes supposedly.

I am renting a Garage because $600 worth of equipment was stolen from my truck in my carport. I have had many times where the garage does not open always when I need to take my children to school, go to work or put my work equipment In the garage or take it out. So I’m frustrated that I’m paying $150 for a defective garage opener.

So far our experience has been great here at Hensley. We were a lil on edge from all the reviews that we read online but I can say those reviews are old and those things are no longer going on. Our neighbors are great and quite even when the kids are walking home after school they are very respectful and quite. We haven’t had any issues with nosy dogs as well we were worried about that since they are very dog friendly here.

The tech was quick to respond to our issue and everything looks to be working properly. The only complaint is that I had to clean up after him when I arrived home. Our bathroom sink, floor, and even toilet paper roll had dirt particles all over.

This is a review from a tenant, Sylvia. Today, May 10, 2019, three cars were stolen from the Hensley Apartment. My brand new Michelin tires that I bought on May 8, 2019 were also stolen from my car and the wheels badly damaged, I reported to the police but they could not do anything because there are no cameras but most importantly the " security patrol" were not aware of the theft. I went to the leasing office and asked for the number to the Corporate Office , they refused to give it to me. I was told the Manager will call me, but I am yet to receive the call. I have lived in this apartment for about 5 years and experienced both Waterstone and Hensley. I am not looking for any excuse or blame game, all I want to see is an improvement in the Sexurity protocols. I also want the number for your Corporate Office. TENANTS NEED SECURITY MUCH MOTE THAN PAINTED BUILDINGS. THE HOME IMPROVEMENT SHOULD INCLUDE SECURITY.

My daughter lived here for a few months this last year and had a horrible experience. Maintenance had to be call over 20 times for leaks, broken washing machine and 9 failed attempts to capture rats. After all that they had the gall to deduct from her security deposit for damage to the carpet caused by the rats! The place was filthy and reaked when she moved in. AVOID this complex!!

I would give 5 stars to maintenance department. Since the new management I like staying here more. If I have any issues it get resolved very quick. Having Amazon on the community is big plus. I just don't like paying $25 for reserved parking but I don't have a choice because at night there aren't any free parking available.

HORRIBLE! They don't even deserve 1 star. Worst apartment complex, horrible customer service, no respect or appreciation for residents. Everyone in the office is SO rude and treats you like you do not even deserve to live there. Need to speak to someone? Plan on calling back non stop for about 30 minutes straight and THEN they will finally answer the phone. They will tell you they will call you back, they won't. Landscapers start by 7:00 am every morning (way too early) and the grounds look so messy. Mainly because the landscapers spend most of the time texting on their phone by the pool leaf blowing debris INTO the pool. Why pay landscapers when it looks the same before and after anyway? The office people spend all day driving around on golf carts and flirting with the maintenance workers, classy right?? - probably why no one ever answers the phones or emails. They try to act like some upscale apartment complex that is really just a roach infested over priced dump. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS- SAVE TIME AND LOOK ELSEWHERE!

I have not been satified and I've stood quiet for a long time this place towed my car a few months ago saying it was because it was a stored vehicle which it wasn't! When I called the office the woman who anwsered the phone was rude and hostile and when I asked to speak to someone higher she said she would transfer my call and instead hung up.. This had me go in and ask to speak to a manager in person I was then told the woman had provides the wrong information and it was because my tags were expired and if I didnt take my car off the premises it will be towed or I could pay an additional 50$ on top of the rent i'm already paying mind theirs never any parking as it is already. on March 18 I put in a service request bc all my outlets in my kichen go out ALL THE TIME since I first moved in I havent been able to cook for my family because of it and I have a one year old to feed I'm writing this review now because checking the status of my matience request they claim to have completed it today on March 19th no one has fixed it so its being ignored. I'm unhappy with my stay here its always something and its always so loud from early in the morning with no consideration of people who work late nights.

Not a fan of my upstairs neighbors but that's just apartment life sometimes . The ladies in the office have been nothing but phenomenal in meeting any needs I may have...like helping me kick someone out. Maintenance guys, the same. Overall happy with living here. The main gate for hideaway apartments doesnt work great with the clickers. Have to be touching the gate most of the time. And the secondary gate is an exit only but alot of people use it as an entrence and they drive thru it quite fast. No issues living here. I hate this place. From day one I have made it clear that dogs, run wild, my daughter was almost bitten, my daughter was held hostage in car by a dog, and i was attackex by a dog. No, response from manger as to are you ok. I’m stuck with a big scar. And not to mention I have a black car, which stay dirty from them blowing dust, than they want stick those BIG RED sticker. If I have a parking decal common sense the car belongs there. Not to mention my car was broken into. BOTH, NO CONCERN FROM MANGEMENT HORRIBLE

Living here for over 3 years now. Location of my appartment is pretty quiet and also good neighbors. Wear and tears are also taken care quickly and appropriately. Vehicles break ins were an issue but seems like the new management have taken care of it. The complex looks much better after redoing parking spaces and other improvements. The new management have also added Amazon hub which is also very convenient. Its a very conveniently located apartment complex with almost everything you need is at walkable distance.

Impossible to keep your car clean, every week your car will fill up with dust and dirt from top to bottom because of the workers and their noisy air blowers. And I lived here for almost 3 years they never bother to fix outside barbecue grills and its impossible to complain to anyone here no one will listen to you, but they will tell you what to do whenever they want you to do what ever they want you to do. Hate this place.
